Another Fine Dinner At Foundry
We recently stopped by Foundry On Elm for a Social Media Summit (of sorts) with Christian of SCVNGR and Jessica of Boston Common Magazine. Well, it was more cocktails and dinner but we did discuss social media. We started off with this, the Housemade Charcuterie Plate. Christian gave a thumbs up on the "Bees Knees" drink (Bombay Sapphire, Lemon and Honey Syrup) he ordered and I convinced Jessica to go with my fave, the "Elm Street Punch" (Sailor Jerry’s Rum, Fresh squeezed juice and mint).
Jessica went with the Wild Mushroom Risotto: Carnaroli Rice with Aged Balsamic and Parmigiano-Reggiano.
Christian indulged in the Pan Seared Scallops with Leeks.
I opted for the Croque Monsieur with Nueske's Ham and Gruyere from the bar menu.
As usual, the food and drinks from this local comfort-food eatery were great. No wonder it's still drawing a crowd all week and really packed on weekends.
