A Taste Of Iceland in Boston

Marinated Icelandic salmon with fennel, rutabaga, artic char roe in spruce oil and horseradish dressing.

We had the great opportunity to visit Legal Harborside last night to kick of the Taste Of Iceland, part of many events this week to celebrate Iceland.  It includes music, art and, well, food and is sponsored by Iceland Naturally.  I have been fortunate enough to travel to Iceland and it remains one of my most memorable destinations, totally unlike any place I have ever been.  And at just over four aways away on IcelandAir, it's a relatively short trip away.

Charred Icelandic Lobster with Cauliflower Couscous.  As we noshed and sipped cocktails we chatted with Roger Berkowitz about our travels in Iceland and the native seafood.

Roasted shoulder of Icelandic lamb with sunchokes, onions, preserved lemons and lamb jus.  This particular dish is only being served at Legal Harborside.

Skyr Tiramisu style: Skyr mousse and spice cake served with coffee ice cream.

For a full list of cool events check out Iceland Naturally.
