Cafe Fleuri Chocolate Bar

We were off to the Chocolate Bar at the Langham Hotel a few weekends back, kicking off the sweet season that will last through the Spring.  It's a Fall tradition in Boston and one that we certainly did not want our sweet tooth to miss.  There's a DJ spinning tunes, drinks, coffee and teas and table after table after table of all kinds of chocolate treats imaginable.

These Macaron Sandwiches were a big hit and of our our faves.

The Cocoa Powder spoons are always one of the most popular tastes.  I love seeing people experience it for the first time.  It's not at all gritty, as one might imagine, but a smooth, rich texture that immediately melts in your mouth.

Truffles, crème brûlée, cotton candy, cookies and just about everything is available in unlimited supply and it's a very popular event with families and groups celebrating a special occasion.

One of our favorite tastes were these beignets.  Sure, they are not chocolate but they were delicately, perfectly friend and sugared and served still warm.  There is nothing like a fresh breakfast pastry.

Yes, there was also white chocolate options for those who are fans of this creamy, milky treat.

I do have to say that there was a small kitchen mishap while we attended this event which could not have been more professionally or adroitly handled by the entire staff at The Langham, proving, once again, their utmost dedication to the highest standards of service.  So, if you have someone in your life that is a chocolate fan why not surprise them with a surprise (and very classy) visit to the Chocolate Bar?  Guaranteed to be a happy memory for all.  The cost is $40.00 for Adults and $28.00 for children ages 5-12.
