Brunch Ideas

Everybody loves brunch, especially on New Year's Day, but it's nice to enjoy on any of these cold winter weekends when there is more time to spend in the kitchen. So, we'll be sharing some of our recent brunch menu items and ideas over the next few months in case you want to try something new.

Scallops in puff pastry with cheese are a cool way to add seafood the the menu.

A plate of double cream brie and fresh croissant can be made more interesting with an unusual preserve such as this Bergamot Peel, an unusual but refreshing twist.

The unusual Bergamot Peel Preserve is made by nar which stands for natural and organic and uses products of Turkey.

Nar also makes more mainstream flavors such as orange and strawberry or, of course, you can opt from any of the great gourmet jellies so plentiful on the market.

Scrambled eggs are livened up with sausage, onion, cranberry and cashew stuffing baked in muffin tins.
