Last weekend we attended Pemberfest, a hyper local craft beer festival held at retail specialty food shop Pemberton Farms in Cambridge. This was an excellent event for anyone interested in local craft beers and was very well-attended.
Oops! No less than sixteen craft breweries were represented and although we did not have time to sample them all, what we did get a chance to try was pretty impressive. Oktoberfest celebrations are always fun but we really liked the twist of a total focus on the local stuff.
It was all about the local and, yes, there was some enlightening wine information available also. We really like the Slumbrew Flagraiser IPA and the Mayflower Autumn Wheat, to name just a few.
Here's hoping that Pemberton Farms makes this an annual event. Great idea guys!!
