My Grandma's

When Andy Hanson-Dvoracek contacted me recently and asked if he could send me one of his coffee cakes I said sure, why not?  I get LOTS of offers like this.  Everyone wants us to taste test their products and, as I have said many times before, most of them never make it into the blog because, well, they are just not that great.

This one was great.  My Grandma's of New England is local (Hyde Park) and produces a high-end bakery quality coffee cake that is buttery, flavorful, fresh and delicious.  I am usually up early every day and have a healthy breakfast more on the side of oatmeal, fresh fruit, and low fat cottage cheese after a long walk or swim.

On weekends, however, I indulge and since I had my first slice of this I have been having it every morning (well almost). I was raised not to waste food! Wrapped up in it's plastic bag and the box that it shipped in it keeps well so would easily last two weekends in a row.  This is one I can easily say I would recommend trying out. they ship everywhere.

  1. I love My Grandma's coffee cake! My coworker introduced me to it a few years ago and I always think of it when I'm craving for sweet, buttery, coffee cake :)
