Once again, we are the leader in new mobile food apps in Boston, and all over but Boston is best, isn't it? There is a cool new app launching for Restaurant Week Boston 2011 called Repeat Receipt that pays you back with additional discounts at every restaurant you dine at. Simply download the free app for Iphones or Android. Then, when you dine at a participating restaurant simply use the app to take a pic of the receipt. You can get up to a 20% discount on the next dinner, it's good for six months in most cases and the deal will continue on even after Restaurant Week ends.
They are also running a twitter contest beginning today where they will be giving away $1000 in free dining cards, ten at $100 each, to those who are able to find the Repeat Receipt folks on the street in orange T shirts. The more you tweet, the more the map zooms in on the location. When you spot the orange shirt simply give them the password and you get the $100 gift card. Pretty clever.
