We visited the brand new Freshii, Boston's newest breakfast and lunch spot in the Financial District, recently and loved the hi-tech hi-green atmosphere.
The second you step in you are handed a mini clipboard to design your order. It may be a bit intimidating for the newbie but it's not all that complicated. The beauty is that it will allow you to order up a custom lunch, maybe gluten free, veggie only, whatever you want. If you are in a rush you can also order online. (As an aside, I am always amazed that so few people order take-out online. I think they fear no one is paying attention to the online orders.)
If you can't decipher it at all there are ambassadors to assist. Just tell them what you want and they will do the rest.
It gets very busy at lunch but the line is very efficient and immaculately clean.
We went with the Warrior Chicken Bowl, spicy and one of the best sellers.
We also sampled the Bangkok Burrito: chicken, brown rice, veggies and warm peanut sauce. Took half of this home for breakfast with iced tea the next day.
On these warm and sunny days they have outdoor seating with umbrellas. When the weather gets cold outside we are told they will have seating in the spectacular lobby at 100 High Street.
