We joined many Boston area food bloggers recently for dinner at Del Frisco's. The Seaport area is unbelievably popular this summer. The minute we stepped in we saw Terry Francona (in keeping with our sports theme this week) at the bar. We barely recognized him without the Red Sox hat. The large, round bar is particularly hopping and with that view of the water it is no wonder why.
It was a warm night so I started off with this very soothing "Breath Of Fresh Pear" cocktail. I was lucky enough to be sitting at the table with Benson Kelsey, Director Of Social Media, who provided interesting conversation all night long about dining in Texas and his adventures all over the country.
We started with Shrimp, Crab Cakes, Tuna Tartare and Prime Beef Carpaccio. I chose the 8 oz. Filet, perfectly medium rare. The onion rings were the size of doughnuts. Lobster Macaroni and Cheese was one of my favorites. Then the desserts: Lemon Cake, Chocolate Souffle, Banana Bread Pudding, Créme Brulee and Berries and cream. Enjoy The pics!
