Spring Fling at Bambara
Sparkling wine, strawberry puree and a drizzle of balsamic vinegar, a great thirst-quencher for Spring.
We kick of our al fresco dining season each year with the opening of the patio at Bambara in Cambridge with Chef Jay Silva. So, this week we headed on over where we caught up with friends Christian of SCVNGR, Kyle Wright of The Improper Bostonian, Leah Mennies of The Feast, and others for an early evening of great drinks and food, along with gorgeous weather.
These arancini with pureed peas were our first taste of the night and, believe me, we did not stop at one.
Chef Jay Silva was very busy grilling up a slew of delicious sliders for the crowd. This was the first year in a while that we actually had sunny, warm weather for the event and the crowd was more than ready.
We also munched on these perfectly seared chops and some delicious skewered shrimp.
