Burger Battle 2011 Winners
It was a sold-out crowd last night as Ken Oringer and KO Prime hosted the second annual Burger Battle with all proceeds to benefit the very worthy cause Autism Speaks. We caught up with lots of food bloggers and burger lovers and went home stuffed on more amazing burgers than we have ever seen in one place. Here are some great pictures of Boston Chefs in wild costumes and delicious burgers. This was a really fun food event! Read on to see who the winner was.
Chef Louis DiBaccari of Sel de la Terre, Back Bay (in his famous cow costume) won second place honors with his burger.
Chef Peter Haggerty of Island Creek Oyster Bar placed third in the friendly competition.
Chef Jay Silva of Bambara in Cambridge.
Of course, we had to take a break from all of the delicious burgers for a quick sip of this amazing Bacardi drink mixed up by KO Barman Asher Karnes.
As we correctly predicted via Twitter about two hours before the votes were tallied, Chef Brooke Vosika and his team from the Bristol Lounge at Four Seasons Hotel, Boston, won the competition for the second year in a row. Congratulations Chef Vosika and to all the participants.
